Dr. Mittelman was an invited guest speaker at the Rejuvenation of the Aging Face Conference held in San Diego, CA from January 19-23, 2011. He presented on the topics of “Multi-vector SMAS Facelifting” (a method of facelift that Dr. Mittelman helped pioneer), “Combination Fractional CO2 and Erbium Laser Resurfacing”, and he also spoke about the Chin Implant that he developed.

In June 2011 Dr. Mittelman was an invited speaker at the Las Vegas Cosmetic Surgery Symposium, an international multi-specialty meeting, where he lectured on the topics of “Chin-Prejowl Implant” (which he developed) and “Needle-Tip Rhinoplasty”, a novel technique used during nasal surgery for improved precision and symmetry.

In September 2011, Dr. Mittelman was an invited speaker at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in San Francisco. Dr. Mittelman lectured on Laser Treatments, Microfocused Ultrasound (Ulthera), and gave a demonstration of the use of a new Fractional CO2 and Erbium Laser for facial skin rejuvenation.

September 2010 – Dr. Mittelman has returned from Boston were was invited to speak at the American Academy for Facial Plastic Surgery’s annual international meeting. Recongnized as a leader in the field of Facial Plastic Surgery he spoke on Combining Fractional and Erbium Resurfacing Lasers, and was the moderator for Emerging Trends and Technology in the Field of Facial Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Harry Mittelman was invited by the Isreali Society of Plastic Surgery and its Facial Cosmetic Surgery Foundation to speak in Jerusalem this month on the topics of Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty and the Mittelman Multi-vector Facelift and Neck Lift.

August 15, 2010 – Dr. Mittelman has just returned from a 4-day multi-specialty meeting on facial plastic surgery. He spoke on some special techniques in face and neck lifting. He has developed a vertical neck lift that dramatically enhances the outcome of a face lift. The vertical neck lift is often performed with a face lift but can be done alone for cervical elastosis with great results. Dr. Mittelman was also an expert panelist the topic of browlifting and lower blepharoplasty with fat transposition.

In the non-surgical realm Dr. Mittelman was also a speaker and panelist on the topics of CO2 laser resurfacing vs. skin peels and discussed his own protocol of facial laser resurfacing using a fractionated CO2 laser and erbium laser at the same time.
