What Is Pellevé®?
Pellevé® is a revolutionary new skin rejuvenation technique that uses radiofrequency waves to tighten and smooth the skin. This treatment can effectively reduce visible signs of aging, such as sagging skin and wrinkles.
What are the Benefits of Pellevé®?
Pellevé® is widely renowned as it is non-invasive, producing results using radiofrequency waves rather than incisions or injections. These waves are intended to penetrate the innermost layers of skin, thus stimulating the body’s natural production of collagen. Pellevé® is effective in the reversal of wrinkles, lines, creases and visible sagging in the skin. By promoting the creation of collagen, Pellevé® helps your body naturally produce firmer, smoother skin. Patients find the benefits of Pellevé® to be extraordinary, such as:
- Non-invasive, relaxing procedure
- Quick, painless and can be performed in our office
- Visible results almost immediately, with further results visible in a few days
- Absolutely no required recovery time
- Boosts the natural production of collagen
- Safe, effective alternative to cosmetic surgery
Is Pellevé® Right For Me?
If you wish that your facial skin looked firmer, tighter or younger, Pellevé® treatments may be right for you. This treatment can be used on the whole face or focused on problem areas, such as the cheeks or forehead. Often, patients opt for this technique as an alternative to more invasive surgeries. Most adult men and women who are in general good health can receive Pellevé® treatments.
How Involved Is The Pellevé® Procedure?
Pellevé® can be performed in our Weston office, takes about an hour and requires no anesthesia or incisions, making it a minimally invasive treatment. First, a special gel is applied to the treatment area. During the procedure, a handheld device is held next to your skin. It emits radiofrequency waves, which penetrate to the deepest layers of the skin where they stimulate the body’s production of collagen. Collagen is a key structural element within the skin and is often depleted as a result of the natural aging process, resulting in sagging skin, as well as lines and wrinkles. Patients generally find the sensation of the radiofrequency waves entering their skin to be similar to a warm massage; this treatment is comfortable, not painful.
How Long Is The Recovery After Pellevé® Treatments?
After receiving this skin rejuvenation treatment, the skin will be a bit red and swollen for several days. However, there is no required recovery period; you can return to your normal daily routine as soon as you leave our office. Some results are noticeable immediately while others will begin to show over the coming weeks.
How Much Does Pellevé® Cost in San Jose?
The cost of Pellevé® will depend, in part, on the size of the area being treated. Many patients see visible results after just one treatment while others undergo a series of three treatments to optimize their results. Financing is available.
